Using PowerBar's Special Commands PowerBar provides a number of what are called Special Commands. As described above, most of these commands are PowerBar's version of typical Finder menu options. The following is a list of the special commands available (with notes where applicable): • Open Selection • Print Selection • Make Alias of Selection (AliasBOSS) • Duplicate Selection • Get Info for Selection • Put Selection Away • Put Macintosh To Sleep* • Find - opens the “Find” dialog • Place Selection Into Trash • Empty Trash • Restart Macintosh • Shutdown Macintosh • Change File Sharing Settings • Make New Folder • Run A QuicKey • Eject Disk • Erase Disk • Undo Text • Cut Text • Copy Text • Paste Text • Clear Text • Show Clipboard • Select All • About This Macintosh • Turn Balloon Help On/Off • Hide Other (non-Finder) Applications • Cleanup Front Most Window (or Desktop) • PlaceHolder - Use this as a separator button * The Put Mac To Sleep command will NOT invoke a screen-saver (some of which may put a “Sleep” menu option into the Finder’s Special menu). It only invokes the "sleep" mode of PowerBooks and Portables.
